Senanayake’s work has been exhibited in Sri Lanka and internationally through solo exhibitions at major Sri Lankan galleries, participation in the London Biennale, and shows in India. His practice extends into public art and festival settings, including the Kaleido Festival in Canada, alongside collaborations with Canadian art institutions and councils such as the Nina Haggarty Centre of the Arts.

Lalith Senanayake

visual artist, sculptor, painter, and environmental conservation artist. Former cartoonist and graphic designer. Based in Canada.
Lalith’s work spans multiple media, including: Earlier exhibitions such as Pussellawa on Canvas showcased village life and cultural landscapes in Sri Lanka. Developed a signature approach to assemblage and scrap metal sculpture, creating large-scale wildlife figures (e.g., horses, leopards, elephants) from recycled metal objects. His scrap metal and welded steel works reflect a strong interest in nature and wildlife.
